This program Automates Faxing with Maximo. Maximo does not have faxing capability of its own. Even if you install a Fax printer driver for Faxing you have enter the Fax Number, Name of the company, etc before you can fax. Or you can resort to the Normal Print and Fax via the manual Fax Machine. This has to be done for each fax that you send via Maximo. Imagine if you have hundreds of Faxes from Maximo each day!

Features of the Faxing Program:
-Automatically Faxes Work Orders, Purchase Orders or Special reports at predefined status points in the work flow process or at predetermined intervals or as required.
-Uses Fax numbers from your labor or vendor tables from the Maximo Database for Faxing.
-Long distance and local calls are also taken care of
-There is no fax dialog prompt showing up. No Screen prompts. You don't even know that that the document is being faxed. The process occurs completely in the background and is initiated on the Maximo Database server.
-Number of Fax retries due to busy lines, etc. and other general normal Fax setups possible.
-Complete log of all faxes sent and errors due to missing Fax numbers etc can be logged.
-Special Fax formats created by BITES Links to suit individual organisations needs on request.
-Automated email updates on the fax status sent to designated indoviduals. Alternatively, this status can be viewed via a web browser.
-If you do not want to Fax you can even print these reports to any special printers of your choice, not just default ones. These are preset options.
-You also have the option of running the utility manually to print and view the faxes overriding all setups.
